It is Bout of Books time again and this time I am planning on reading more books than I have ever read in a Bout of Books readathon before!
If you don’t know what Bout of Books is, it is a reading challenge that simply asks you to read as much as you possibly can over a week. There are also various mini-challenges hosted throughout the week of Bout of Books which allow you to win fabulous prizes…mostly Amazon vouchers but who does like a good Amazon voucher?
If you want to find out more and sign up to take part check out their website here.
And here is a little introduction from Bout of Books themselves:
“The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 17th and runs through Sunday, August 23th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 14 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team”
I will be reading:
- The Ersatz Elevator by Lemony Snickett
- The Vile Villiage by Lemony Snickett
- The Hostile Hospital by Lemony Snickett
- The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black
- The Watchmarker of Filigree Street by Natasha Pulley
- Vicious by V.E Schwab
If you want to keep track of my progress while I attempt to read 6 books in a week you can follow me on GoodReads here. If not I will be trying my best to keep things updated on here.
Is anyone else doing Bout of Books this week? If so let me know, I would love to keep track of your readathon progress.
I love that you have Lemony Snickett on your list! Good luck this B.O.B! Happy Reading!
Thank you! I’m rereading the entire series and it is so much fun.
Big fan of this blog! I might give this a go as I’m doing lots of travelling and book reviewing this week which means time to read!
Thank you, and I think you should go for it! There is still time to sign up for it, or you could just see how much you can read in a week.
