Top 5 ‘Top 5 Tuesdays’ of 2017

This is a special edition of Top 5 Tuesday to say a big thank you to the creator and organiser of Top 5 Tuesday, Shanah aka Bionic Bookworm. Every month Shanah takes time out of her busy mum and business owner schedule to think up a list of topics for us bloggers to write about every week. So, since there is no topic for this week’s Top 5 Tuesday some of us have come together to say thank you by writing a Top 5 Tuesday about our favourite Top 5 Tuesdays of this year.

If you are not already following Bionic Bookworm you need to. She is a brilliant book blogger and every week she will give you some blogging inspiration if you need it. Give her a follow and join in.

Here’s to you Bionic Bookworm. Merry Christmas

1. Top 5 Reasons Why I Blog

Reasons why I blog was a brilliant topic because it just let me rant. I have a lot of feelings about the book blogging world and an excuse to go on one of my “no one loves horror & everything is commercial” rants is always welcome.

You can read my Top 5 Reasons Why I Blog here

2.Top 5 Childhood Reads

This one was just fun. It was nice to get nostalgic about books and share particular book related childhood memories with people.

3. Top 5 Books I Want for Christmas

Personally I found this one useful. It got me thinking about the books I really wanted to get this Christmas so when it comes to doing my after Christmas book shop I already have a shopping list written down, or at least a list of the top 5 books I am looking for.

4. Top 5 Spooky Reads!

Of course this would be on my list. Sadly I was too busy at the time to take part but the number of creepy reads various bloggers suggested definetely filled out my to read list. It provided me with endless reading material.

Since I didnt take part in this one myself I am going to link you to Shanah’s post on this list.

5. Top 5 Recommendations for Non Readers

Another one that I sadly didn’t have the pleasure in taking part in myself but this as a topic is a brilliant idea. Neither of my siblings read and I have many friends who are non readers so it was handy to read posts full of potential gift ideas.

Here is Shanah’s post on the topic

Lastly I would like to say thank you to J.W Martin for coming up with this amazing idea and sharing it with everyone. Check out his blog

  1. Awwwwwww!!! 😭😭😭 I had no idea this was happening and I was so confused with all the ping backs this morning! Surprised absolutely doesn’t come close. I can’t express how much your words (and Joe’s little movement 🙂) has warmed my heart. It’s reading all of the participants posts, getting their recommendations, and feeling their excitement that makes all the chaos of T5T worth it! Thanks so much for this – it really means a lot! I hope you had a fantastic Christmas!!

  2. My top 5 reasons why I blog made it on the list and why am I not surprised toe see the Spooky reads on your list? LOL
